Sam Rosen is the play-by-play voice of NHL Radio on Westwood One, broadcasting regular season games, postseason games and the NHL All-Star Game.

During his 30+ years in broadcasting, Rosen has covered several different sports including hockey, football, basketball, boxing and tennis. Since 1977, he has worked with MSG Television hosting various programs, and performing play-by-play duties for the network's coverage of the New York Rangers, the New York Knicks, Golden Gloves Boxing, WT tennis and college basketball. He has also provided play-by-play football and hockey coverage for FOX Sports Television, and is currently the play-by-play voice for Direct TV's boxing coverage.

Rosen has won several awards during his sports broadcasting career including a CableACE award for "Outstanding Live Event Coverage" in 1994, two New York Emmy Awards and the Sam Taub award for "Excellence in Boxing Broadcast Journalism."
