Harry Kalas returns to the Westwood One broadcast booth for his 14th straight year as play-by-play announcer for the NFL Sunday Afternoon Doubleheaders.

Since 1971, Kalas has also been the voice of the Philadelphia Phillies. Previously, Kalas called play-by-play action for the Houston Astros from 1965 to 1970.   While in Houston, Kalas also provided play-by-play for the University of Houston football team and the Southwest Conference Basketball Game of the Week.  Kalas spent two years in the Army, serving as Public Information Specialist doing hometown interviews in Hawaii, after which he served as a play-by-play announcer for the Hawaii Islanders of the Pacific Coast League from 1961 to 1964.   Kalas also narrates the HBO syndicated program Inside the NFL, as well as numerous other productions for NFL Films.  Kalas has won two Mid-Atlantic Emmys and has been named by his peers as Pennsylvania Sportscaster of the Year by the National Association of Sportscasters and Sportswriters 17 times.
