This year, Gary Danielson joins Westwood One as a weekly contributor to the Network's NCAA Football coverage.   Danielson, is also in his second season as the lead analyst for the CBS Television Network's coverage of college football.   Prior to joining CBS Sports in 2006 , Danielson served as analyst for ABC Sports for nine years (1997-2005), and for ESPN for 14 years (1991-2005).   Danielson played 13 years in the NFL with the Detroit Lions and Cleveland Browns, passing for 13,764 yards and is the third leading passer in Lions history.
