'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' hunk Robert Pattinson will star opposite Uma Thurman and Kristin Scott Thomas in an adaptation of Guy de Maupassant's short story 'Bel Ami,' according to The Hollywood Reporter. Filming in Paris next year, Pattinson will play a journalist and ladies' man who ascends to the top of high society with the help of interested socialites. more

Steven Spielberg's DreamWorks is planning to turn Stephen King's latest supernatural thriller into a limited TV series, most likely for cable, reports Variety. Under the Dome follows the events in a small Maine vacation town after an invisible force field traps the residents, who divide into warring factions fighting for survival. more
