ROCSI - 106 & Park
Dreams don’t last long for BET’s newest starlet, Rocsi - she turns them into reality.  When she auditioned for BET’s "New Faces Search" and beat out more than 5,000 other competitors, Rocsi was already a hit radio personality in Chicago, and destined for more.  Crowned the new female co-host of 106 & Park, Rocsi has the experience and character to steer the network’s highly rated music countdown toward continued success.

Born in Honduras, this beautiful Latina grew up in the Bayou State and claims New Orleans as her home.  Immersed in the eclectic cultures of the Big Easy, Rocsi is well seasoned in all genres of music, but hip-hop is her main ingredient.  “Hip-hop is in my blood, it’s programmed into my DNA,” boasts the rising star.  After graduating from Nicholls State University, Roc Star deejayed her way into the tough Texas and Boston radio markets before making her home at Chicago’s R&B and hip-hop station, Power 92 FM.

Known in radio as the, “Midday Mami,” Rocsi’s charming and versatile persona allows her to easily make the transition from the DJ booth to the dance floor or the ball field.  She enjoys salsa dancing with the girls, chillin’ with the boys at the 40-yard line and boxing.  Well versed in hot topics and hip to all the latest trends, Rocsi has the interviewing gusto to bring out the answers inquiring minds want to know.

In addition to the “Midday Mami’s” interesting hobbies, she can also be found lending a humanitarian hand.  Rocsi has always had a philanthropic spirit, and this characteristic kicked in after Hurricane Katrina destroyed her hometown.  After the devastation, Rocsi and some of her closest friends decided to throw a benefit appropriately named “Jambalaya.”   Proceeds from “Jambalaya” went to help rebuild Rocsi’s alma mater, West Jefferson High School.  When describing why she needed to help out in this way, Rocsi affectionately states, “My first everything was in New Orleans...my first dance, my first kiss and so I figured why not have my own little New Orleans bash as a way to give back to my hometown.”

It’s a new dawn at 106 and Rocsi, along with co-host Terrence, are ready to seize the day. Rocsi’s fun un-mocked personality will draw you near.  She’s confident, she‘s beautiful but, most importantly, she’s 100% real…so, get ready for Rocsi to rock your world.

TERRENCE - 106 & Park
Terrence, the hungriest young dude in entertainment, is the new co-host of 106 & Park.  Chosen from a pool of more than 5,000 applicants in BET’s nationwide “New Faces” search, the “Party Boy” has the talent, appeal and style sure to keep television’s "livest" show abuzz.  Alongside "The Park's" new resident hottie, Rocsi, Terrence is willing, ready and able to take over television’s leading music video countdown show.

Terrence’s determination is definitely the reason he landed this gig as the new host for 106 & Park.  After auditioning for the “New Faces” search in New York and not making a good impression, he wasn’t going to let that get the best of him.  He headed to the next audition in the city of Atlanta, where he would eventually win BET executives over.  Terrence definitely has a swagger about him that has 106 all over it and with that, and his infectious personality, he was on mission that would land him a chance of a lifetime.

Terrence was chosen as one of 10 finalists in the “New Faces” search, and it was then that he knew the pressure was on.  Being surrounded by 9 other hopefuls - many having already landed commercial gigs or worked in professional radio - Terrence had to go extra hard.  “I put everything on the line for this…my job, my company, my home and I couldn’t leave empty handed,” said the new 106 host.  “It's amazing what you can do when you have no options - and the only choice I had was to win.”  And win he did; Terrence made the final cut to become one of 5 future stars.

Although new to BET, Terrence is no newcomer to the world of music.  From a student at North Carolina A&T to an entrepreneur in the crazy world of promotions, Terrence has definitely got his feet wet on the music scene.  While attending A&T, Terrence led a radio show, hosted parties, fashion shows and other local events around campus all under his promotions group, Team Dolla.  After graduation, Terrance landed a job in Florida as an Account Executive with motor sports giant, NASCAR, and soon after, made his way down to the ATL to continue his quest for stardom.

In addition to working the job of his dreams, Terrence still grinds with his many side hustles, enjoys hitting the late night scene and loves to meet new people.  He is a  proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.  Get used to the energy this young Q-Dawg has to bring.
