Ask me about radio and I will be quick to say "it's a hard way to make an easy living!" I come from a construction contracting family in Chicago.  After a very bad sheet metal accident where I lost the use of my hand for a year, I thought there has to be a better way!  I mean no disrespect to my sheet metal working family, but sharp objects and my attention span are not a good fit!

To quote Montgomery Gentry, "This is my town baby." I have lived in and around Chicago my entire life.  This is home, and to be working at America's greatest country station in the world's best city... Who could ask for more?

Currently I live in the western burb of Batavia with my wife, Gina, and our three kids: Cheyenne is now 11, and one heck of a gymnast; my little man Conner is 7, and thinks he's Ricky Carmichael on his mini-bike and Paul Konerko when he's playing Batavia youth baseball.  As for Cassie, she's 2 and, god help my family, she has my "no fear attitude."  They're good kids and they keep mom and dad pretty darn busy.

As a family, we are Sox fans but will never root against the Cubs.  I took the family to several games this past year, and my dad, "Big Ray," and I got to sit in the pouring rain at a White Sox World Series game.  What a year! My pop, who's an avid Cubs fan, had a blast!

When not on the air in Chicago, I can be found playing in the woods of Wisconsin. I'm an avid snowmobiler (Ski-Doo man), and the winter is probably my favorite time of the year.  I'm "Up North" almost every weekend, riding snowmobiles, bicylces or looking for that elusive Muskie.  To watch your kids pull in a nice smallmouth is one of life's great joys!

NASCAR... I love racing! If you make it to Chicagoland Speedway, that voice you hear on track and on TV is me!  I have had the good fortune of announcing the race fields and victory lane for the track for the past four years.  And this year, I will make my way onto the 1/4 mile with a new pro street car I just bought with some friends. So, keep your eye open for the "Street Stuff" Ramblin' Raycing Ford Mustang!
