Country Aircheck Editor Lon Helton hosts the only countdown show with weekly in-studio guest artists.  One star, joining Lon for the entire show, shares funny and topical stories about artists and songs in the Top 30.  Unlike other shows which either use pre-recorded interviews or place the focus on the host, Country Countdown USA is fresh each week, placing the focus on the country star co-host.  Recent co-hosts have included Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, George Strait, Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts and Gretchen Wilson.  

The format is informal and friendly, fast-paced and funny, giving listeners personal insight into their favorite stars and making it sound as though a top star is actually at your radio station, co-hosting the show with Lon.  Occasionally, the co-host will perform live in the studio.
