Mary Hart hosts Westwood One’s two-minute feature ET Radio Minute, airing Monday to Friday. ET Radio Minute features the latest news highlights from the entertainment and music industries including inside information and breaking stories from the worlds of movies, television, music, and fashion. Hart has been co-host of Paramount Domestic Television’s Entertainment Tonight, the #1 news magazine television program in syndication, for nearly 20 years. Hart began her broadcasting career by hosting a local cable show in Sioux Falls, SD, but quickly progressed to co-host of a noontime talk show for an Oklahoma City television station. She was hired in 1981 as co-host of NBC daytime talk show “The Regis Philbin Show,” and soon after joined Entertainment Tonight. She was inducted into the Broadcasting & Cable Hall of Fame in 1999, and received the American Women in Radio and Television’s 1998 Silver Satellite Award. Hart was also the subject of an edition of A&E’s Biography. Hart serves on the board of directors for the National Childhood Cancer Foundation, is a Childhelp USA Ambassador, and co-hosted the Children’s Miracle Network Telethon for 15 years. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and son. |
